Hygienists
Dental Hygienists play an essential role in
a preventative dental practice. They are skilled professionals
who have a key part to play in the prevention and treatment
of gum disease. Gum disease is the biggest single cause
of adult tooth loss and a problem which we take very seriously.
Use them to increase your awareness of how
to prevent dental disease. They are highly trained professionals
and not just there to clean teeth!
As patients keep their teeth for longer the
emphasis on dentistry is changing from treatment to prevention
and hygienists are one of the most important personnel in
delivering this change.
