Mark and Martin qualified in 1982 from Liverpool University
and immediately started working as associates gaining
experience in general dental practice. In 1985 Martin
and Mark, in partnership, brought their first practice.
In 1989 the partnership moved to Manchester and then to
Bolton in 1993. Martin and Mark have been in partnership
19 years.
Martin O'Connor BDS, DGDP
RCS, DPDS
Martin gained a Bachelor of Dental
Surgery(BDS) from Liverpool University, in 1982, and the
then achieved the Diploma in General Dental Practice (DGDP(UK)).
In 1995 he went on to gain Diploma in Postgraduate Dental
Studies (DPDS) from the Royal Collage of Surgeons specialising
in periodontology and the treatment of worn dentition.
Martin is a active member of the British
Dental Association (BDA) and the Association
of Dental Implantology (ADI).
Martin is married to Helen, a teacher and
has two children aged 12 and 14. He's enjoys golf, skiing,
gardening, theatre, travel and computers. Martin is the
secretary of Bolton BDA for the last 10 years and is responsible
for arranging all post-graduate education for the Bolton
branch of the BDA.
Mark Glynn BDS,
DGDP RCS, DPDS
Mark achieved a Bachelor of Dental
Surgery(BDS) from Liverpool University, in 1982. After
years of extensive postgraduate education with special
interests in aesthetic dentistry, orthodontics and implantology
Mark gained his Diploma in General Dental Practice (DGDP(UK))
from the Royal Collage of Surgeons in 1996. Mark then
went on to be awarded the Diploma in Postgraduate Dental
Studies from Bristol University. Mark still attends many
study days, throughout Europe, and is a active member
of the British
Dental Association (BDA) and the Association
of Dental Implantology (ADI). Mark is also a trainer
in the vocational trainee programme and has been a clinical
assistant in orthodontics at Addenbrookes Hospital.
Mark lives with partner Christine who is
also a dentist. They have four children aged 2 to 18.
Mark enjoys golf, hockey and is a season ticket holder
at Bolton Wanderers. He enjoys eating out when time allows
but also enjoys gardening and cooking although he doesn't
like to admit it.
